Sabores Mexicanos Taqueria Cantina

6 Month Update: Sabores has maintained consistent quality food and elevated their menu specials and drink options. Chimichangas and Fajita Burrito are a new favorite. Bar glassware has been updated, bar menu expanded, and Margarita prices brought to the local standard. The Mangonada is insanely worth trying. Sabores has evidently made great strides to keep its place as the greatest hidden gem in Enfield. ————— What once was a hole-in-the-wall biker bar is now an incredibly put together Mexican taqueria. Everything from the music to the decor is inviting and familiar, and the space is incredibly clean and seemingly new. The service was above par and prompt, and the friendly bartender was sure to give chips while food was being prepared. Parking, while also in a residential neighborhood, was available on the property and was very accessible. The counter side chips were fresh and were nice to have while waiting. The birria tacos had good flavor but were a little soggy by the time I got to the third taco. My hands favorite thing ordered (not pictured) was the chicken burrito ordered to go. SUCH a good burrito, well worth the value. The only suggestion to consider when visiting is that outside of happy hour, cocktails are 16 per plastic cup. While the margarita I ordered was fantastic, when looking at local competitors to enjoy a night out for a few drinks, you’ll see better values for drink selection elsewhere. That said, HAPPY HOUR specials are worth checking out. Overall Sabores is a wonderful addition to Enfield, even if the location itself is a little curious. Definitely worth the visit!

After searching for a good taco place near us, we decided to give Sabores a try. I’m so excited we decided to give it a shot cause holy cow was the food amazing! Everything was so fresh and flavorful. We only ordered take out but everything was hot and still put together by the time we got home! I would highly recommend and we we will be back soon!!

Very clean, staff was very friendly. Food was really good and there are a lot of options for those who want to play it safe with your standard American/Mexican options as well as something for the more adventurous types (tripe and cow tounge tacos). Will definitely be going back!

OMG! I highly recommend this cantina if you like authentic Mexican food. I ordered the burrito and my lovely bride ordered the Combo pick 3. While eating she said this place will be a staple, at least once a Month. I just smiled, because I was thinking the same thing. Her Chicken Tomal was outstanding. Her beef taco was so smooth and delicious, I had never tasted beef like this. Please, using your own tastebuds I guarantee you will love this food. Everything was done perfect. My burrito was so big. I wanted to tell my wife. I’m not leaving here until I finish this whole burrito but it probably would’ve taken me from 1:30p.m. till 5 o’clock. lol. I just didn’t want to spoil the taste having to reheat it.

Unbelievably good, genuinely authentic Mexican food. They have a dozen or so varieties of tacos with delicious, clearly homemade ingredients. Their cocktails are also unexpectedly fantastic. We ordered takeout the first time we discovered them and then came back a week later to dine in. We'll be coming back regularly

Absolutely loved the food and drinks! My bestie and I stopped in for lunch on Saturday for the first time. They’ve been opened for 8 months and I’m so happy I was able to come in! First off - chips and salsa. We grabbed strawberry margaritas & then the nachos to share!! I can’t wait to come back with a bigger appetite!!!

Delicious mexican food! Very authentic flavor and good portions. The margaritas were quite tasty as well. Churros at the end were a nice touch. We will definitely be returning

Simply amazing food and atmosphere. Definitely a place to bring a party or just a date night. Owner advised us they were making a new menu to expand their selection. Definitely nice to see a great restaurant in this old neighborhood.
